Woking - Woking Park (Surrey)

Thanks to Owen who sent the above photograph of a Dawn Redwood "next to the swimming baths in this public park." Owen says this is the champion Metasequoia glyptostroboides for girth in England according to the Tree Register. What an amazingly fluted trunk on this Dawn Redwood!
