We encountered this surprise find while on an evening stroll around the outskirts of Perth. It has a slightly odd shape in that it consists of a relatively slim overall profile in terms of its foliage and yet it has an incredibly stout trunk such as one would expect to see on a tree with larger branch spread.

Peggy kindly sent some information about this tree. She said "It is on the grounds of the old Cleeve House. If you take the google man down to the estate you can rotate 180 and see the redwood a few blocks over."
