Thanks to Shane for sending this photograph and he wrote "these two are situated on the Nottinghamshire university grounds there are three, one of which is hiding behind the one on the right. They are in fantastic condition and looking really healthy."

Coast Redwood - 2015

This photograph shows the Coast Redwood that George nurtured from a young sapling. He wrote in March 2021; "Regarding the coastal redwood I donated to the University of Nottingham - I haven't been back to check on it since but this photograph was taken soon after it was planted in 2015."

Thanks to Tom for an update on this tree. He wrote; "It's now approx 7.5 m tall."  It's great to see how it's getting on and to have a record of its growth.
