Holborn - Carey Street (London)

These four Dawn Redwood stand on the south side of Carey Street behind the Royal Courts of Justice. "On Carey Street" is a euphemism for being bankrupt or in debt, and this apparantly came about because the U.K. bankruptcy court is located in this street. These four Dawns certainly seem to be prospering despite this association. * * * Update October 2019 * * *

Thanks to Tomasz who sent the above photographs of these four Dawn Redwood in October 2019. He also provided girth measurements which I have added to the table below.

It's interesting to see their girths (and no doubt their heights) have all increased despite the less than ideal conditions of both constriction at the base and pollution from the traffic.
