Budleigh Salterton - Bicton Gardens (Devon)

Thanks to Trevor for the above photographs of just one of the Wellingtonia and one of the Dawn Redwoods in Bicton Park Botanical Gardens. Trevor says, "Bicton Agricultural College, literally next door, also has a fair number of Redwoods. There is a group of 3 great Wellingtonias [No. 38 marked] and a lovely Dawn Redwood in the American garden. Later on some Coast Redwoods and then some more Wellingtonias and later still another great Wellingtonia and another lovely Dawn Redwood, both by a little stream. I observed a few more Redwoods on my tour, but I didn't realise there were 20 listed in the Bicton catalogue. Best of all, some official statistics that are now 10 years out of date and awaiting your visit."
