| There are two Giant Redwoods at the Mansion House Rest Home, Burnham Road. The first two pictures show the tree in front of the building taken at different times in the year and at different times of day. Picture 1 was taken as the sun was setting in August, while Picture 2 was taken in April 2006. Due to building works in the grounds (construction of bungalows for the over-55's) it was not possible to re-measure the girth of this tree. The last picture shows the tree by the railing near the corner. It has had a lightning strike and is rather hidden among other trees. |
