Alexandria - Duck Bay Marina (Dunbartonshire)

Thanks to Tam who says "This grove of 11 Giant Sequoias are on the edge of a picnic area at Duck Bay Marina by the A82 on Loch Lomondside. There is an interloper in among them taking the total to 12 trees but it is not a Sequoia it looks like a large Spruce. The remains of a fallen tree are lying in the middle of the grove possibly No. 12? who knows, anyway the remaining 11 are an amazing sight." It is good to see several Redwoods grown together, especially if Tam is right about No. 12, at least there are eleven others to continue growing to dizzy heights.

I had not realised this surprising find along the A82 road, adjacent to Loch Lomond, was the grove found by Tam a year before in 2007. Time did not permit accurate measurements in 2008 but they can be found at N56.01587 W4.61356.
